Brief details:
With over three decades of teaching experience at Senior Management Team level, I am a leader and a strategic thinker with strong decision-making skills and a desire to deliver results. An approachable and collaborative team member, I have considerable experience of working with leadership teams and schools to ‘close the performance gap’ and none of the solutions are quick fixes. Utilising my qualifications in conjunction with my communication and analytical skills, I develop successful relationships, motivate teams, and deliver change.
I also work as a classroom teacher, in French and German, when the opportunity arises in order to maintain my teaching skills. Most recently I have been tutoring pupils who are taking the Common Entrance Examination. I am passionate to enable all young children to overcome their barriers to learning and to realise their potential.

Additional Section 5 Inspector
I am an Additional Section 5 Inspector who regularly leads and participates in audits of school readiness for inspections in Primary & Secondary schools and with Local Education Authorities.
Training Courses
I deliver one day training courses for national training companies throughout the Country and overseas on many aspects of secondary education, for example:

• Website compliance
Consultancy
I deliver custom INSET days for schools based on their specific needs, for example:
• tailoring and delivering any of the above mentioned courses
• auditing compliance of school websites
• Taking Governors through the OFSTED Framework
• Reviewing Governance
• Safeguarding Reviews
I also have experience of writing and monitoring Post-Ofsted Action Plans and working with schools in Special Measures.
